Much more than testing to see if you need new glasses!

Weber Vision Care’s optometrists provide comprehensive eye health examinations. Why? Because your ocular health is an important indicator of your overall health. And regular, comprehensive eye examinations are the best way to ensure a lifetime of the best vision possible.

In addition to ensuring proper eyesight, regular eye examinations allow us to detect and treat diseases as early as possible. Don’t believe that? Well, several eye diseases, including glaucoma, have no discernable symptoms in their early stages. A regular comprehensive eye examination can help detect diseases early, improving the likelihood for successful treatment.

Kids’ Eye Exams

When Should My Kid Have His or Her First Eye Exam?

We recommend eye exams for infants because early identification of a child’s vision problem is key; children often are more responsive to treatment when problems are diagnosed early. So, we recommend that infants should have their first comprehensive eye exam at 6 months of age. Children then should have additional eye exams at age 3, and just before they enter the first grade — at about age 5 or 6.

An increasing number of our patients ask us whether or not they are viable candidates for corrective eye surgery.  While corrective eye surgery is certainly a lot less expensive than it used to be, there are still lots of important considerations for you to mull over before proceeding.
