Meet Our Staff – Heidi

Meet Heidi Brown – one of Weber Vision Care’s opticians.

Heidi joined the Weber Vision Care team in February 2021 with over 30 years of experience in the optical industry. Starting right out of high school, Heidi had an interest in eyes after years of visits to Johns Hopkins for both her and her father’s eye conditions. Heidi began her optical career working with a manual generator in a lab. From there, she moved up the ranks and became an optical manager with certification through the American Board of Opticianry (ABOC).

She said one of the most enjoyable parts of being an optician here is talking to the patients who remember seeing Dr. Weber as a child. We really appreciate the loyalty of our patients and the generations of families that come through our doors.

Heidi considers glasses to be an accessory, so it is no surprise that she likes chunky, bold frames with bright colors. The State Optical line is a perfect representation of Heidi’s ideal frame (We think they match her personality and hair too!). She also likes the new Gwen Stefani frames, Ted Baker, and of course, our LINDBERG collection.

When Heidi isn’t at WVC, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three grown children. Heidi also loves reading, especially when she’s lounging at the beach. Next time you are in the office, be sure to say “Hi!” to Heidi!
